2011 Election Results!
We are pleased to announce the results of the Fall 2011 Southern Tier ENA elections for board position:
Amy Spencer for President-elect
Rosanne West for secretary
Sandy Stoeckel for board member at large
It was exciting to have multiple members willing to serve and a great big thanks to them all. We are looking forward to a great 2012! All contested races were very close and a winner wasn't evident until the last votes were tallied. There are many other opportunities for our members to get involved and all are welcome at our bimonthly meetings helping plan our agenda, teaching day, and other ENA activities.
It was also exciting to have such a high return rate on our ballots with 27 out of 62 members voting for 45%!
Anyone who has any feedback on the ballots please let me know.
We did identify one problem that is not unique to the ballots and can really affect any "company" that sends emails. If you are using your work based email for ENA mailings you are possibly missing out on email from the national ENA, the NYS Council email as well as the local chapter. Often large companies throw these emails into their spam boxes and you never know it was there and we do not know that you didn't get it. The easiest solution is to change the email that you are using for ENA to a personal email account. This can be done simply on the ENA home page by signing in the clicking on the underlined area in the left upper corner that says how long before you expire. This will open your profile page and you can change all the information that the ENA has on you. If you change your email that you want used it would be helpful if you would let me know as well. I am sending this email to you from my home email to make sure you get it. If you did NOT get a ballot or you think that you are missing emails from the state or national please let me know.
